Rent out a 6 string electric guitar and a 4 string bass guitar . The proposal here is simple; if you are curious as to whether you'd enjoy learning and playing (either) guitar, this may be for you. Instead of buying and/or renting the guitars from L&M, figuring out which learning platforms to use, and buying cables/pods, simply rent both guitars and make use of the free version (or $10/month) of Yousician, an award winning app where you connect your guitar via USB to the computer and learn at your own pace.
