Description

The radiator pressure test tool features a durable aluminium pump cylinder, 21.2" rubber nylon resin hoses, and brass fittings for longevity. It includes a 3" dial gauge with a range of 0 to 35 psi (0 to 2.5 bar) for easy observation. The chrome-plated brass quick coupler with a relief valve allows for easy and quick connection to radiator adapters. Remove the original radiator cap and select the appropriate cap from the test kit to use the tool. Install it on the radiator opening and use the hand pump to pressurize the system to 10-15 psi (do not exceed 35 psi). Observe the gauge: a pressure drop indicates a potential leak. Inspect and repair the radiator system as needed. The test usually takes about 10 minutes.
