DO NOT BOTHER HIRING FROM THIS PERSON. Having read their other reviews, I explicitly asked if the item I wanted was collection, to which they said yes. They then asked me to complete a delivery form, which I thought was strange. I tried to claim a refund as I wasn’t confident they would deliver and they claimed the item was already on its way. They then claimed I’d received a text from DPD Local (I didn’t). By the time I got on top of everything, the post office had closed. When I confronted him about delivering it to the post office, which I didn’t want, he claimed it was “collection from post office”, which he had never stated at any point in the booking process. I was never able to collect the item from the post office, and therefore couldn’t use it on the shoot. Total waste of time. If he claims an item is available for collection, he is LYING. STAY AWAY!

Cancelled last minute due to sending equipment via DPD. Unfortunate as the renter is located 5 mins from my flat but chose to send equipment via a delivery system that took it all the way to Birmingham. Super frustrating. 24 hours before shoot.

APUTURE 300D MK II / INTERVIEW KIT 

Avoid at all costs if your shoot actually matters.  I hired lighting from this kit hire company for a shoot and the experience was nothing short of disastrous. On the day of the shoot, the delivery company simply did not turn up, leaving us with no lighting at all — effectively crippling the entire production before it even began.  What made this far worse was the hire company’s response. They were completely unhelpful, offered no meaningful support, no replacement kit, no emergency solution — just a suggestion that we “wait and see” if the kit might be dropped at a pickup point later that day. It never was. The equipment was returned straight back to the depot, untouched, while our shoot collapsed in real time.  This wasn’t a small inconvenience, it ruined the shoot and caused significant financial loss, wasted crew time, talent fees, and location costs. In an industry where timing is everything, this level of incompetence and indifference is shocking.  It genuinely felt like the people running this business do not understand how film, photography, or commercial production works. When a hire company fails to deliver and then fails to step up when things go wrong, they become part of the problem rather than part of the solution.  If your project is important, do not risk it here. You deserve a supplier that understands what’s at stake, and this one clearly doesn’t.
