Description
The DAS Audio Altea 715A full-range speaker and the DAS Audio Altea-718A active subwoofer are an officially recommended and compatible pairing that form a powerful and integrated sound system. The 718A subwoofer is a powered unit specifically designed to extend the bass response of the active Altea full-range cabinets, and bundles are sold commercially as a complete system. System Integration Seamless Connection: The Altea-718A features stereo signal routing and loop-thru outputs that provide a signal for the Altea 715A satellite speakers. Optimal Sound Control: The integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) in both units allows for a range of configuration options via the DAScontrol interface and LCD screen. The subwoofer includes a variable low-pass filter (80 Hz to 125 Hz) to properly blend the bass with the top speakers, and the top speakers have switchable high-pass filters. Remote Management: The system can be wirelessly controlled and monitored using the DASlink mobile application, allowing adjustment of DSP parameters like EQ, delay, and gain from a mobile device. Physical Setup: Both speakers have a standard 35mm pole mount socket, allowing the Altea 715A to be mounted on a pole above the Altea-718A for optimal vertical coverage. Specific pole mounts, such as the TRD-6 or TRD-7, are available accessories.
