Charges using a micro USB connection. I can lend you the lead. Adjustable strap, holds snugly on head or over beanie hat. It has a dimmable light both white and red, intermittent. Useful for reading discreetly when the lights go out without disturbing others. I was gone for nearly a month and I didn't need to charge it once during the trek. I have since used this for camping in the UK. Does the job and more.
