A good lender. good communication and easy to organise pick up and drop off. Kit was good although the case is a bit knackered. The trolley handle was gone which made the walk to the tube long and hard work. Obviously if you're using a courier or driving that won't be a problem. Also the zip is a bit dodgy. But that's all the case. The light was great and worked well.

The absolute worst experience I have had on Fat Llama. After I booked 3 days before my shoot, he then didn't respond to me, so I had no idea of where to collect the item. On the morning of my shoot, I searched through his reviews to find a mutual friend who had rented from him previously; this is the only way I was able to get his number and ring to organise collection. After organising collection, he then blanked my phone calls for 1 hour while I was standing outside his house, I decided to leave, on my way back to my shoot he thankfully rang me to say he was at his house and so I drove back to collect the item. After now being 2 hours late to my shoot, I discovered that None of the Asteras where charged and a lot of them where partially broken, I didn't get to use the item in the end. The absolute worst experience I have ever had on Fat Llama.

Great kit. Batteries wearnt fully charged, however it was a short notice rental. Accomodating

There were some initial issues upon collection with equipment that was not suitable for hire. This was handled in a really friendly manner but we felt it could have been avoided and more accommodation could have been given. Further issues with the bulb caused significant disruption to our shoot and we had to purchase a replacement bulb at our cost. When this issue was raised, there was no effort to discuss the concern and instead the blame was shifted directly back onto our team we are certain the bulb was not in good working order beforehand, but regardless a conversation would have been appreciated. All in all, it was an okay hire but not completely positive and perhaps suffered from a lack of communication from the lender.
