Description

The Rode Blimp 2 is the ultimate windshield and shock mounting system for shotgun microphones up to 325mm in length. It features a Rycote® Lyre® suspension system for superior isolation from handling noise, plus an ultra-lightweight and ergonomic handle. Housed inside the grip is a cable that splits via a junction box to a flexible thin cable inside the Blimp, which minimise the transference of vibration to the microphone. The K-tek Airo Boom Pole is a 4-section, uncabled, anodized aluminium, non-rational Boompole that extends from 98 cm – 330 cm (3’2.5″ to 10’10”). The top attachment is a 3/8”-16 male thread and the bottom attachment is made of anodized aluminium; both are removeable for running cable through the pole. Rubberized collars easily lock and unlock with minimal twist movements. Foam grips reduce handling noise and offer comfort during longer takes. ––– We have a wide range of sound, lighting and video equipment which can be packaged with your rental, message us for a custom package. ––– Booking details: – Please contact to check availability before booking (note we are a business so only able to respond during office hours) – Collection and return times are Monday–Friday 11am-7pm  from Kunstraum, 1A Roscoe Street, EC1Y 8PT
