I stock high-quality Duracel/Energizer £1/AA OPTIONAL: # Standard microphone ME2 has diameter 6.5mm and sounds just alright but if you are after better audio quality or you need a smaller mic, I highly recommend to upgrade for these: * +£5/day for dia 4.8mm Sennheiser MKE2 or +£10/day for any of these: *Sennheiser MKE1 (3.3mm diameter) *Countryman B6 (only 2.54mm diameter!) or Dpa 4060 # various lapel mounting options like Rycote Stickies, undercover, overcover, 3M Hypoallergenic tape, Ursa foamies, BubbleBee Cable Savers - just ask IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are not sure, how to properly set up and use the radios, please watch some youtube videos, there are plenty of them. However before you start, make sure you followed these basic steps: 1. scan available frequencies to avoid any interference and make sure you are within allowed range of frequencies (valid for UK). 2. set up sensitivity for the transmitter input. This will depend on the type of used microphone and the loudness of the talent. 3. set up your output gain for the receiver (AF out). This will depend on your recorder 4. check the pilot tone and squelch setting according to your needs. 5. test all connections and sound free of interference and any other unwanted sound 6. do not stick any strong sticks or labels, which are difficult to remove or which are leaving residual glue (like some velcro stics) as this is difficult to remove and damages the kit, which is virtually new.
