Tilta Mirage Motorized VND Matte Box Kit (MB-T16-B) – a lightweight, modular matte box system with a built-in motorized 95mm variable ND filter. The Mirage clamps directly onto lenses with a 95mm front or via the included 67 / 72 / 77 / 82mm adapter rings, making it ideal for compact cinema and mirrorless rigs, gimbals and even drones. The motorized VND module gives you smooth electronic control of ND from 0.3 to 2.7 stops, with hard stops to avoid the typical X-pattern artifacts. ND can be adjusted wirelessly using the included controller, so you can keep exposure consistent when light changes without touching the lens – perfect for gimbal work, Steadicam or solo shooting. The matte box body is ultra-light and aerodynamic, with a carbon fiber top flag to cut flare and protect the front element. The system accepts Tilta’s 95mm circular filters as well as optional 4×5.65" stackable trays, so you can combine VND with diffusion or special-effect filters if needed.
