Description
Super rare 1999 Hi-8 camera , the same one used in the film Mid-90s. A lot of these old cameras need a lot of maintenance due to age , mold , wear and tear but this one is working in perfect order we do regular maintenance on it and had the tape deck replaced and installed a fresh one. For a camera that is over 20 years old it has features that are very hi tech , including the really cool green night vision feature, sharp images and extreme digital zoom 72 X, still keeping in line with the analogue home movie aesthetic. Please be careful when using the rewind and forward button and pressing down too hard as the tape can get mangled and loosen the tape deck. A high resolution tape is already included in the package deal as well as a wide angle lens that's optional to use, charger , instructions and conversion kit from analog to digital . Please include everything back in the return including the tape, extra cost if you wish to keep the tape. Refer to the checklist. We advise you start using the tape from the very beginning so you don't get confused trying to locating footage on the tape. Collection starts from 11am and return 6pm. Please collect and return it to the CONSEPT shop in Brick Lane Loading bay (TRUMAN BREWERY). Conversion from analog to digital costs from £40 depending on how long the footage is otherwise as previously mentioned the instructions to convert are included.

The camera was okay but there was a missing cable which delayed my work. I couldn’t download my footage from the camcorder, even though they offered to help transferring clips they were quite rude on text and I ended havig to pay myslef for additional we transfer to get the footage.
