The lender was nice but the lens was not cleaned before I collected it. I couldn’t remove the UV filter so there was dust and marks on the lens for my shoot. Communication could have been better at the end of the rental too as I was left waiting outside for 15 minutes despite me messaging my eta ahead of time.

The only positive thing was the pick up/drop off and communication. However, I must give a heads up before renting from here, especially if it's for actual work. The condition of the camera and batteries were very bad. None of the batteries were charged (luckily I had booked in advance so I had time to charge) One of the batteries was not working at all. The remaining 2 batteries drained ridiculously quickly (luckily someone let me use their laptop to power the camera and luckily my shoot was not handheld and I could leave it shooting in one spot connected to power) There was a ND filter on the lens which was stuck on we couldn't remove it. Overall, without the luckily circumstances I would not have been able to film, the client would not have got what they asked for, and  this would have ruined my relationship with the client and be very unprofessional. So definitely check these before renting. Good luck.
