Playback Rig for failure-free live shows, with full redundancy auto-switch (if one computer ever fails mid song, it automatically seamlessly switches to the other). 12 XLR DI balanced outputs. Based around a PlayAudio12 audio interface. Can of course also be used without redundancy i.e. just as a more standard interface that outputs 12 channels of audio. Recommended setup for redundancy is 2x Macs (one main, one backup) running QLab or Ableton. It's fully tour-tested and is completely reliable...has never failed! All nicely colour coded for ease. I am also able to program the playback for you at an additional charge, so all you'd need to do is plug in and press play. I can explain how to use it...just ask. Happy to post. I can personally deliver within a reasonable distance of Manchester - otherwise shipping costs can be discussed for further afield. If you have 2 mac's running simultaneously, MD's/playback operators can rest assured knowing if one mac fails mid-show, the system will switch seamlessly to the backup device mid song. This package includes absolutely EVERYTHING you need to just plug in and play at the venue. Right down to XLR's and USB cables. It all fits nicely into the shallow rack case and only weighs 13kg all in: - PlayAudio12. - Akai LPD8 Midi Controller (for triggering playback - this is now properly labelled!) - 12x Assignable XLR DI outputs (i.e. 12 separate tracks can be output at once, 10 in pic but is 12) - 2x Jack to XLR Looms (16 XLRs all together, only 12 outputs can be used, so 4 spare). - Shallow 4U Rack Case.
