Show rig for failure-free playback available to hire - - 2x Cymatic Audio Utrack24's - 1 Orchid 8 channel switching DI. - fully connected by looms, Boss foot pedal (+ 2 connecting jacks) for triggering playback. - additional 8-track labeled loom snake for DI out > stage box. *I can deliver for free within reasonable distance of Croydon, otherwise a fair fee for delivery further affield can be discussed.* With 2 playback units running simultaneously, MD's/playback operators can be assured if your main unit fails mid-show you will switch seamlessly to the backup device. By generating a continous tone on your DAW (-20dBu or above) this will output from the main Utrack (any of the spare channels 17-24) to the switcher. This will stop sounding if the main machine has failed, enabling instantaneous switching. Download and use the free Utool software to get your show files ready (https://cymaticaudio.com/downloads/utrack24/) and then export to both of your USB drives (Sandisk ultrafit or similar are the best option so they won't risk being knocked into/knocked out of the devices). Make sure you have 'MAIN' show files that always include the continous tone file for the main Utrack. Disclaimer - Sorry but tutorials/technical help on getting your shows running onto this rig are not included. But I can explain a few basics before each rental. I'll always check that the rig is in fully functioning before rental but If something is not working as it should be then please get in touch.
