The focus ring rotates 240° It has a metal housing and fits all PL-mounts, on Sony, ARRI, Ursa, etc. The CineAlta are softer than Cookes and better in terms of continuous edge-to-edge sharpness. The Cookes are becoming blurred towards the edge (less suitable for 4K). The CineAlta lenses are heavier than the Cooke S4/i, but still much lighter than the Zeiss Master Primes or even the Cooke 5/i. If you need various focal lengths for your shoot, you can rent a set of 6 lenses. All have the same widest diameter, front diameter, and geared barrel locations.
