I did my research before purchasing this, and the following features make this a great choice: Lightweight (under 160lbs) and well balanced, less strain while operating and I can push it up a pretty steep hill. Grinding teeth are the type that do not break or come off, I will also make sure they're sharp for you. Gas: 4 stroke motor takes regular gas (I try to use only high octane) and it runs for over 2 hours on 1 gallon. Purchased new June, 2025, starts right up and in excellent condition. I have used this to grind 12 inch stumps in 30 min. A huge 3ft wide 1ft tall stump took about 2.5 hrs, the heartwood was tough. This grinder will go 8 inches below grade or more if you dig around the stump when you get low. If you're planting grass on top, I'd go down a few inches and call it a day, but that's up to you! Easy to operate, I can show you and provide the manual. Good to have safety goggles or something. It's still hard work! Be prepared to break a sweat if it's hot out.
