Hygglo is Europe's leading peer-to-peer rental platform, built on a simple belief: things should be used. We help people earn money from the items they don't use every day, and access the things they need — exactly when they need them. Listing items is completely free, and everything is covered by the Hygglo Guarantee. Hygglo handles verification and payments, making sharing safe and effortless.

Hygglo was founded in Stockholm in 2016 by Ola Degerfors, Henrik Fräsén and Axel Hellström. What began as a local startup quickly grew into the Nordic region's largest rental marketplace, driven by the vision that the sharing economy can reduce waste and create meaningful environmental impact.

In 2022, Hygglo acquired Fat Llama— the UK's biggest peer-to-peer rental platform. By bringing the two platforms together under the Hygglo brand, we expanded our reach across Europe while continuing to build toward the same mission: making access better than ownership and changing consumer habits for the better.

Today, Hygglo is used every day by people across Europe to share tools, cameras, outdoor gear, electronics and much more. We're proud to be leading the shift toward smarter, more sustainable consumption — one rental at a time.
