Proper compressor car fridge/freezer (not one of the “sort of cool” thermoelectric boxes). Brilliant for road trips, camping, van days, festivals, long drives, filming/fieldwork days, or just keeping proper food cold without buying ice every day. It’s a compact 9 L unit (about 42.5 × 32 × 25.2 cm) and can be set anywhere from +20°C down to -20°C, so it’ll happily do both chilled drinks and genuine freezing. Rated power is 45 W and it’s designed to be efficient/quiet (listed around 45 dB), so it’s very usable in a car/van environment. ❄️ Included in the rental: ++ Fridge/freezer unit ++ 12/24 V car power lead Small note: it’s a great little unit, but like any compressor fridge you’ll want some airflow around the warm air exhaust vents (don’t wedge it tightly into a sealed box).
