Description

Manfrotto XPRO video monopod hire in London (MVMXPRO500): a four-section aluminium monopod with a FLUIDTECH fluid base and the 500 fluid head, for smooth moves where a tripod won't fit. WHY THIS ONE A normal monopod only goes up and down. The fluid base at the foot lets the whole column tilt and swing smoothly while the foot stays planted, so you can pan and follow a subject from one spot, and the 500 head handles the fine framing on top. It extends to about 2m, which gets the lens over a crowd, and packs down to 78cm. WHAT'S INCLUDED Manfrotto MVMXPRO500 as sold: XPRO four-section aluminium monopod, FLUIDTECH fluid base and 500 fluid head with sliding plate. SPECS Sections: 4, aluminium, D-shaped tubes that resist twisting Locks: Quick Power Lock levers Base: FLUIDTECH full fluid base Head: Manfrotto 500 fluid head, 2.4kg pre-set counterbalance Maximum height: about 203cm Closed length: 78cm Weight: about 2.1kg WHAT PEOPLE HIRE IT FOR Weddings and events where tripod legs trip guests up. Marathons and sports sidelines. Press pens and red carpets. Conferences with a speaker who walks the stage. Monopod hire in London is mostly about the floor space a tripod takes up. WHICH ONE? There are three XPRO monopod listings, so two- and three-camera crews can match their kit. Hire the others alongside this one. For locked-off shots, the Manfrotto MVK500AM tripod kit is available to hire in London too. PACKING It travels in a padded bag, and specific packing is on request.
