Powerful and easy to use pressure washer ideal for patios, driveways, decking, fences, garden furniture and vehicle cleaning. The Karcher K4 delivers strong, reliable performance and is suitable for both quick jobs and full deep‑clean projects. Flexible collection times available in Whitton/Twickenham. --- WHAT YOU GET • Karcher K4 (130 bar) • High‑pressure hose • Trigger gun • Vario spray lance • Dirt Blaster lance --- USER GUIDE — BEFORE YOU START • Check the water inlet filter is clear of dirt or debris. • Use a minimum 7.5 m (25 ft) hose and ensure it is fully unwound. • Only use a non‑return valve at the top end of the hose. • If using an extension lead: • Must be fully unwound • Connect water supply, remove the lance and squeeze the trigger to run water through the machine before switching power on • Place the machine on a flat, stable surface. --- SAFETY • Do NOT spray people, animals, electrical items, or the pressure washer itself. • Wear appropriate clothing. • Maintain at least 30 cm distance from painted or sensitive surfaces. • Do NOT use the Dirt Blaster on tyres, paintwork or wood. • Keep children and pets away from the work area. • Ensure hoses and cables are undamaged before use. • Never leave the machine running unattended. --- OPERATING THE MACHINE 1. Insert the spray lance into the gun and rotate 90° to lock. 2. Switch the machine ON. 3. Unlock the gun safety catch. 4. Press the trigger to start water flow. 5. Adjust the Vario lance from SOFT to HARD as needed. 6. For detergent use: • Turn the Vario lance fully to SOFT • Place detergent suction hose into detergent container --- AFTER USE • Release the trigger and lock the gun safety. • Switch the machine OFF. • Turn the water tap OFF. • Press the trigger for 30 seconds to depressurise the system. • Disconnect hose, lance and accessories. • Store the machine and accessories dry and frost‑free. • Clean the water inlet filter if required. --- TROUBLESHOOTING (QUICK REFERENCE) Low Pressure • Water tap not fully open • Clean the filter • Vario lance not set correctly • Detergent filter blocked • Detergent hose kinked Pulsing / Surging • Nozzle blocked – clean with a needle • Water supply too low Leaks • Small drips are normal • Heavy leaks require service --- IMPORTANT WARNINGS • Never suction solvents, petrol, paint thinner or acids. • Only use Karcher‑approved hoses and couplings. • Do not bypass or modify safety devices. • Always fully unwind extension cables. • Never touch plugs or sockets with wet hands.
