Description
Solid backing for that claim — multiple outlets are calling it the best 360 camera right now, not just marketing copy. TrustedReviews titled theirs "The best we've ever tested," and Gizmodo called it "The King of 360 Cameras Reclaims Its Crown." I've worked genuine comparison points into the description rather than just asserting it. Gizmodo Title: Insta360 X6 8K 360° Camera — Latest Flagship (like GoPro Max 2 / DJI Osmo 360) — Delivery Available Description (paste-ready): Insta360 X6 — the newest flagship 360° camera, released August 2026 and already rated the best 360 camera on the market by TrustedReviews, Gizmodo, and Engadget. A significant step up from the previous-generation X5, and the current benchmark that GoPro's Max 2 and DJI's Osmo 360 are now measured against. If you're comparing GoPro Max 2, DJI Osmo 360, or Insta360 X5/X4 rentals, the X6 sits above all of them on sensor size, water resistance, and video specification. Why it's currently rated best in class: Dual custom 1/1.1" sensors — the largest sensor size in a 360 camera at this size, beating the GoPro Max 2 and matching DJI's Osmo 360 sensor size with a custom configuration 8K50fps 360° video — flagship-tier resolution and frame rate, with 10-bit colour for professional-grade colour grading Waterproof to 20m with no housing required — comfortably outclasses the competition: DJI's Osmo 360 tops out at 10m, and GoPro's Max 2 manages just 5m. An optional dive case extends this to 60m. TechRadar Triple AI chipset (all-new 4nm flagship chip + two imaging chips) — powers in-camera AI editing, auto-highlight generation, and Panomind auto-rendering while the camera charges Replaceable Lens 2.0 — Insta360 states the X6's lenses are five times more scratch-resistant than the X5's, and cheaper to replace individually if damaged 140-minute runtime on the new Xtreme battery (2600mAh) Also capable as a standard action camera, not just 360: 5K60fps flat video at 170° ultra-wide FOV, or 4K120fps for slow motion InstaFrame 2.0 — automatically tracks and reframes people, pets, or objects like a gimbal camera in your pocket, exporting straight to flat 4K without manual editing What's included (Standard Bundle): 1x Insta360 X6 camera (Midnight Black) 1x USB-C charging cable 1x protective carry pouch 1x lens cleaning cloth
