The Voigtlander 28mm f2.8 Aspherical SL II-S Color-Skopar manual focus lens, for 35mm single-lens reflex Nikon cameras, features a lens barrel made of extremely durable metal parts and a focus adjustment ring that is very smooth to operate. With advanced optics, it proides edge-to-edge sharpness and unmatched clarity for accurate rendition of your subject matter. The color and clarity are extraordinary and it focuses close too, the extralong focus helix being able to go as near as .15m, very uncommon for a wide angle lens. This is achieved with virtually no vignetting! The physical lens is rewarding as well. Made of metal, the finger indents for aperture and focus knurling are accomplished in way that you get the tactile sensation of true classic lens.
