Description
Ideal for rapid and effective screening of stones and debris from soil or for separating fine soil from gravel. Fitted with a 10mm mesh which is ideal for most applications. Mesh can be removed to use the 20mm holes. Run an extension cable to the machine. Supplied cable is approx 2m long with a standard UK 3-pin 13A plug. Power supply must be earthed with RCD protection. Attach collection bag if required, and position wheelbarrow(s) as required. Supplied with a collection bag for stones and a chute for funnelling the sieved material into a wheelbarrow. Shovel the feed material into the drum at a steady rate, allowing it clear before adding the next shovelful. Remove any large debris before feeding. If necessary adjust the tilt angle for optimum separation – too steep and the fines will pass though unsieved. If necessary a second pass can remove further fines. If the feed material is too damp it won’t separate – the fines clump together and clog the mesh. Safety Power supply must be earthed with RCD protection Use only in dry weather conditions. Avoid loose clothing or long hair – risk of entanglement. Keep children away from the machine when running. Wear safety glasses and gloves. Preparation Preparation is the key to making best use of your hire period. Dig/ break-up/ rotovate the material in advance and make sure it is loose and reasonably dry.
