Description
Vintage Bentley Rhythm Ace FR-8L analogue drum machine available to rent. A proper late-60s/early-70s transistor rhythm machine with that warm, woody old drum-machine sound. It has a large selection of preset rhythms including rock ’n’ roll, swing, shuffle, Latin, bossa nova, samba, mambo, waltz and slow rock. Different patterns can also be combined to create more unusual rhythms. There are separate controls for the bass drum, snare, cymbal/hi-hat/maracas and guiro, along with tempo, volume and rhythm variation controls. High and low audio outputs are provided for connecting it to a mixer, amplifier, recording interface or effects. Included: • Bentley Rhythm Ace FR-8L with attached mains lead • Ace Tone wired start/stop footswitch • Additional wired vintage foot control shown in the photos • Wooden cabinet with folding music rest • Large fitted hard carry/transit case Ideal for recording, sampling, live performance or adding genuine vintage analogue rhythm sounds to a production. This is a preset analogue machine, so there is no MIDI, USB or modern sequencing. It powers up with the indicator illuminated as shown. It is in genuine vintage condition with age-related marks to the machine and case. Supplied exactly as photographed. Collection from Hackney.
