Basic Location Sound Kit A practical location-sound package suitable for interviews, short films, documentaries, promotional videos, student projects and content production. The kit includes a RØDE NTG2 shotgun microphone with a deadcat windshield, a Tascam DR-40X portable four-track audio recorder, a handheld boom pole and two XLR cables. This package is ideal for productions that need clearer dialogue recording and more flexibility than an on-camera microphone alone. Please bring a standard-size SDHC or SDXC card for the Tascam DR-40X recorder. A 32GB or 64GB Class 10 card is recommended for most shoots. The card may need to be formatted before use, so please back up any existing files first. 3 AA Batteries will be required to operate the Tascam Field Recorder Please allow time at collection for an equipment check and a brief walkthrough of the recorder and microphone setup. All items must be returned in the same condition in which they were supplied. Please ensure that the microphone, windshield, recorder, boom pole and cables are packed correctly before return. Additional Equipment Available A separate Sony FX6 Standard Video Kit is available for productions requiring a professional camera package. A separate Pro Video Upgrade is available, including a six-lens DZOFILM Vespid Prime 2 cinema-lens set, wireless follow focus, shoulder rig and Hollyland Mars 4K wireless video-transmission kit.
