Description
The ClearSonic S2466 Sorber Panels are professional acoustic absorption panels designed to complement acrylic drum shields by absorbing sound reflections rather than simply blocking them. Constructed with a 1.6-inch rigid fibreglass core wrapped in an acoustically transparent fabric, the Sorber panels significantly reduce reflections, reverberation and overall stage volume. They have an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) rating of 1.0, making them highly effective for controlling mid and high frequencies. These panels can be mounted as a lid above the drum shield and as rear panels behind the drummer, creating a more controlled acoustic environment for live sound and recording applications. They are widely used in recording studios, churches, theatres and live production environments where cleaner drum recordings and better stage isolation are required.
