The Ampeg SGT-DI is a versatile preamp/DI box that gives you instant studio-quality sound. Great for performing live or recording, this piece of kit supplies classic Ampeg tones straight out of a stomp-box. Some of my favourite features include: The realistic Ampeg cab emulation and built in DI for direct recording or going into the PA (get the sound of a 1x15, 4x10 or the classic 8x10). The SGT overdrive circuit on the right foot switch delivers anything from warm tube saturation up to gritty distortion. A great Built-in Optical Compressor and the Three band EQ, Ultra-Hi & Ultra-Lo switches which all Ampeg users have come to love. Includes 9v Power Adapter issued with the pedal & will provide a walk thru sheet to first time users.
