The Gibson SG is a solid-body electric guitar model introduced by Gibson in 1961 as the Gibson Les Paul SG. It remains in production today in many variations of the initial design. The SG Standard is Gibson's best-selling model of all time. This model is a 1973 model, produced in Walnut finish, which is rarer than most, as the common finish for 1970's was a Cherry finish. This guitar was made famous by countless amounts of artists and bands, from Frank Zappa to George Harrison, from Eric Clapton to Frank Marino. I advise you have a spare set of strings on you, as the strings can break at any time. Spare/extra strings are not supplied with the instrument when hired. This guitar comes in a Hardcase.
