Sennheiser EW 100 G2 radio mic with lapel and headset

A few things were wrong with this rental. 
Firstly we requested delivery of the kit, due to the distance from the owner. For a small item, that could have easily been insured or covered for delivery we were told we could not have this option. (More expensive items were happily sent to us), being a company project means sending staff out to collect. I was understanding of this, and as a company said we would pick this up. All was well.
When we received the item, it was battered all the cabling was crumpled into the bag, and when we went to use it the headphone mic and couldn’t get any type of reception or signal whatsoever, so we tried the lapel also supplier but when we reviewed the footage, constant breaking and popping. 
We hired over £2200 for this shoot off FatLlama and other hiring companies, and unfortunately this was the only kit that let us down.
Will look to hire from someone else in future.
