It also includes a patented shockmount for decoupling the capsule from mechanical vibration, resulting in the lowest handling noise in its class. Natural, open sound The custom-developed DMC7 dynamic capsule provides crisp, open and natural sound. The result is high-end tonal accuracy and unparalleled sound reproduction. The supercardioid pattern also helps to ensure the mic cuts through any mix, providing high gain before feedback. The neodymium magnets result in a wide frequency range and excellent sensitivity. The microphone also includes an internal windscreen, designed to reduce unwanted wind noise, sibilance and plosive sounds.
