Description

Not only a fully original Bicentennial Thunderbird, but also previously owned by legendary bassist Peter Hook. Bought by him in the early noughties, as he was collaborating with electronic dance band, Hybrid. A massive bass in many ways - long-scale through-body neck, mahogany build, two Sidewinder humbuckers. Huge sound, for deep lows, with plenty of clip at the top of the neck. Exactly what you'd expect from a guitar that's spent nearly 50 years on the planet. Heavily roadworn, but an absolute beauty to behold. That Tobacco Sunburst on mahogany just glows. The fretboard and frets are in great playing condition, with very little wear. This is a genuine Gibson Thunderbird, owned by Peter Hook. Which helps explain the hire price. But if you want to add some classic big bass sounds sounds to your home or studio work, then this is the one! Rental includes hard case. And happy to include a support pack at no extra cost, with: - 5 Picks - Clip-on Tuner - Strap - Hercules Mini Stand - Cleaning Cloth. Happy to meet personally in London to hand over. And if this isn't the one for you, check out my other guitar, amp and pedal listings on Fat Llama!
