The Canon RP and EF 85mm F1.2 L II combination is the perfect setup for wedding portraits, engagement photos, head shots, and all manner of portraits. The Canon RP has the eye AF which helps to focus on the eye and get that part of the frame in focus and sharp. The EF 85mm F1.2 L II lens is special portrait lens with an aperture as wide as F1.2. It is a professional short-telephoto lens, precision-made for low-light shooting and those situations where extremely shallow depth of field is required. That allows you to allow a lot of light in to hit the camera sensor in low light situations. It is great when you want the background to melt and make the subject pop out of frame. And when shot wide open or slightly stepped down, the look is flattering to the skin as it glows and requires little to no Photoshopping. Images are sharp enough for use when shot wide open, but even better when the aperture is stepped down. This combination is perfect for creative portraiture. It will not let you down.
