This is a stunning on- or off-camera microphone, ideal for DSLR / mirrorless filmmaking, with a rich sound quality, superior to the Rode pro video mic and on a par with some of the high end film shotgun mics on the market. On-board control gives fabulous ease of use and control on the go, with three pattern settings for wide and more focused capture. USB-C charging (cable included) gives the mic sufficient power for full filming days. I am an active filmmaker, and maintain all equipment to an impeccable standard, with secure, dry storage and careful maintenance.
