This is the Epiphone Electar Century 1939: a lap steel guitar that packs old-school 1930s vibes as well as various modern upgrades, including a 500B Blade Humbucker pickup for a hefty range of sounds as well as a rubber anti-slip coating on the back of the body that keeps the Electar from shifting during wild slides. Meanwhile, the 1-piece mahogany body, the Traditional 1939 Art Deco Replica design of the acrylic fretboard and the Circus Tent pots combine to give you the same feel as the original Herb Sunshine design. Matching gig bag included. Brand new, bought it at Christmas.
