Description
Hand wired point to point amplifier made in the UK to the highest specifications Danbury transformers and quality components used throughout Fully functional, the transformers were made in England and are no longer being made(shame really, as they are decent) Loaded with a vintage set of 1960’s BVA Brimar pre amp valves; the power valves are Modern TAD KT66’s and the rectifier valve is a modern JJ. This is a very loud amp, lovely sparkling cleans and it distorts like it should once cranked. I've had this up against an actual 1965 JTM45 and they do sound very similar, really not much in it through a pinstripe cab. sonically this is pretty spot on, more so than the current pcb reissues! Delivery and collection is also available in London(at cost) I can also rent this out with a 1966 pinstripe cabinet(see my other items) , happy to do a deal on both!
