These studio monitors need no introduction- if you don’t know them just give them a Google. SoCal is a group of former JBL employees who went solo with their Kali range to give their former gaffers a good (very good) run for their money. These pack a punch in all frequency ranges for mid-size rooms. Front ported makes them better in all ranges for setups where professional room treatment isn’t an option. Very honest sound replication for reference, but not as brutally transparent in the high mids as Genelecs, so much less fatigue and, in my opinion, with better results in creating full range dynamic mixes. I love them, but rarely used anymore due to room size.
