Description
For rental here is my Leica R8 35mm film camera! This camera is an absolute machine, if you want the pinnacle of film build quality combined with technology then this is it. The camera has top shutter speeds of 1/8000th, meaning you can shoot wide open in broad daylight with fast film. It's a great shooters camera. The viewfinder is massive and a joy to look through, with diopter adjustments. It also has all the shooting modes you could ever need, including a variable programme mode that you can easily shift by moving the shutter speed dial, to easily get your ideal balance of aperture and shutter speed. The camera comes with a Leica 50mm Summicron-R lens, a really lovely lens that can be shot wide open and stay sharp to the corners. It also has flash sync up to 1/250th, so again, perfect for using with a flash in daylight, if you want to do strobist work on film, which can be great for a fashion shoot. I'll include a Nikon SB22s flash in the rental as well. I'll even throw in a roll of Kodak Vision 3 500T film to use! (Please remember that it needs to be developed as ECN-2, not in a C41 lab like Snappy Snaps) I work at the Barbican so can easily meet there to drop off the camera, or I could meet nearer to Peckham Rye.
