After agreeing to rent and paying for this lens, the seller made it incredibly difficult to arrange pickup. Even though I was happy to collect it myself, he told me I couldn’t because the lens was “with another customer” but then how was it ever available for “delivery,” which he wanted to overcharge me for in the first place? The night before my event, when I had no choice and couldn’t cancel as I was relying on this booking, he demanded an extortionate extra fee for delivery. He justified it by saying the listing price was “low,” but if that’s the case, adjust your price upfront—don’t overcharge customers at the last minute and leave them stuck after they’ve paid and have no other choice. Returning the lens was equally frustrating and time-consuming. If you’re renting for an event and need reliability, avoid this seller entirely. This was unprofessional, stressful, and left me with no alternative at such short notice.
