No delivery. Between its internally shockmounted 1.8-micron ribbon element and custom-engineered transformer, the Rode NTR ribbon microphone offers you a clear, clean and impressively detailed sound. It has an extremely open sound with a naturally present high-frequency range. I personally use this microphone whenever I'm after a condenser-like sound (in terms of its extended frequency range and high output level), but with the unparalleled side rejection of a ribbon. My favourite usage is recording vocals of singer-pianists - it sounds great on many singers due to it being brighter than most ribbons and, with careful placement, it can reject the sound of the piano incredibly well. It's a very natural sounding ribbon that I've enjoyed using on many sources.
