Description
Premium Reactive Load Box The Captor allows you to record the signal of your tube amp silently or at a reduced volume so you can hit the sweet spot on your output valves. You can either use it to reduce the volume of your amp to make it more suitable for home recording, silently with the built in speaker simulator or use an IR in your DAW. From Two Notes: Push your tube amp to the sweet spots and control the volume with the -20dB attenuator. Get pushed cleans, driving crunch or liquid high gains without flattening the front row or disturbing your neighbours and family. I include premium van damme cables for your cabinet/speaker out and XLR output from the captor. I often use a signal splitter so I can record a DI signal the same time, it makes editing much simpler and offers me the option of reamping the signal later to layer up different tones/FX.
