Details: No scratches on the glass No cleaning marks on the glass No fungus Focus ring smooth in operation Aperture ring smooth in operation No oil on blades Diaphragm operating correctly Filter ring not damaged A note about dust: All used lenses will have some dust in them, sometimes even new lenses. Most dust will not affect a photo because all of the image passes through all of the glass with the result that dust is 'averaged out'. I do not specifically mention the amount in dust in a lens unless I spot a large particle, or if there is lots of it. If you do not wish to buy a lens with dust in it, then you do not want a used lens, and should contact the manufacturer of your camera for a price list of new lenses.
