Katrina is the Co-founder of Equivalentbehaviour, a Studio and project space in North London. Equivalentbehaviour is a studio, platform, and evolving ethos founded by Katrina Stamatopoulos and Wojciech Kawczyk from StorqueStudios. - We are multidisciplinary practitioners whose aim is to form new methods of working collaboratively, and to develop projects that negotiate the integrity of ideas and materials. At our studio, we work closely with artists, researchers, curators, photographers and commercial production teams to translate concepts into tangible objects and experiences. Every idea and object becomes a rigorous translation of thought into matter: we find what each material wants to do and how form can emerge from it. Working towards a future of care for creative and cultural production, we prioritise the use of reclaimed and surplus materials as resources for new possibilities, shaping outcomes in unexpected ways. Equivalentbehaviour permanently houses a Photographic Scanning Studio, where you can rent the equipment by the hour, or work with us more personally on a project. We provide professional Photographic, Archival and HiRes scanning for film, photographs, artwork and historical artefacts, and are concentrated on harnessing the relationship between physical and digital.
