You hire it for what it does to the way you shoot. One focal length, one aperture ring, a 60MP sensor and a lens that renders the way Leica glass does. It makes you move your feet and the pictures are better for it. The 60MP is what makes a fixed lens workable. Crop to 35, 50, 75 or 90mm in camera and there's still a usable file at the other end, so a 28mm behaves like a small set of primes when it has to.
