It uses a compressor and refrigerant to cool the air, and the hot air must be vented outside using the exhaust hose. Best used in small to medium-sized rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, and studios where the hose can be placed through a window or door. Collection requires two people to carry it down four flights of stairs, and drop-off requires two people to carry it back up four flights of stairs. Handling note: this is a refrigerated compressor air-conditioning unit. It should be transported upright where possible, or carefully resting on one side if needed. Do not turn it upside down. After transport, please leave it standing upright for at least 1 hour before switching it on, otherwise it will damage the compressor.
