Description

Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM lens hire in London (SEL85F14GM): Sony's G Master portrait prime, with an f/1.4 aperture, 11 blades and a physical aperture ring. WHY THIS ONE The 85mm GM is built for faces. f/1.4 separates a subject from even a busy office background, and the 11-blade aperture renders out-of-focus lights as smooth circles. For video, the aperture ring lets you set exposure without going into menus, and a programmable focus-hold button sits under your thumb. It is dust and moisture resistant, weighs 820g and focuses to 0.8m. WHAT'S INCLUDED Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM with front and rear caps and a padded pouch. The lens hood isn't included as standard, because most shoots don't use one and it's the item most often lost; ask when you book and I'll add it free. SPECS Focal length: 85mm Aperture: f/1.4, 11 blades Minimum focus: 0.8m, 0.12x magnification Optics: 11 elements in 8 groups, including 3 ED Filter thread: 77mm Weight: 820g Controls: aperture ring, focus-hold button, AF/MF switch Mount: Sony E, full-frame WHAT PEOPLE HIRE IT FOR Headshots and actor portfolios, personal branding, engagement and wedding portraits, fashion close-ups, and interview close-ups on a second camera. Portrait lens hire in London for anyone photographing people. BODIES AND KITS Fits any full-frame Sony E-mount body, and Eye AF on the A7 III, A7 IV and A7R V makes f/1.4 practical for moving subjects. I also list it as a kit with the A7 III if you want to hire a body too, all available to hire in London. PACKING Goes out in a padded pouch inside a hard case or padded bag. Ask for specific packing when you book.
