The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art is a full-frame prime built around 13 elements in 11 groups incorporating one FLD, four SLD, and two aspherical elements, paired with a 9-blade rounded diaphragm, Hyper Sonic Motor, floating focusing system, and Super Multi-Layer Coating — all combining to deliver razor-sharp images from edge to edge with beautifully smooth bokeh and minimal chromatic aberration, flare, and ghosting. Originally released in 2012 as the very first lens in Sigma’s Art line, it set the standard for all subsequent Art lenses and remains the 35mm prime of choice for many professionals , with a modern mirrorless DG DN version later redesigned from the ground up featuring weather sealing, a de-clickable aperture ring, customisable AFL button, and a stepping motor for fast, silent autofocus. 📸​​​​​​​
