Premium bike box available for hire, perfect for road bikes! This box is very sturdy and proven in action. Some describe it as bullet-proof, which is a slight exaggeration, but it is really tough. It has 4 caster wheels so it is very easy to roll through the airport. It has 5 padlock clasps for secure locking. Packing a bike in this box is very simple, and can be as quick as 15 minutes. The website mentions that it should comfortably hold most road bikes with 25mm tyres (when they are deflated). However, if your wheels have tyres wider than 25mm or are tubeless, you will need to remove the tyres or place them on the foam layer instead of in the wheel recesses inside the lid. I am aware that it is possible to fit wheels with deflated 28mm tyres in the wheel recesses, but I haven't tried it myself (I ride 25mm), so it is at your own risk.
