WHY THIS KIT The Ronin-S is rated for a 3.6kg payload, and this camera and lens come to about 1.5kg, so there's plenty of headroom. The 24-70's barrel changes length as it zooms, which shifts the balance, so set your focal length before balancing and reframe by moving rather than zooming. The grip holds the battery, good for up to 12 hours when the rig is properly balanced, and the extended grip opens out into a small tripod between takes.
