This camera is perfect for diverse projects, including photography (portraits, fashion, events), video production, YouTube and content creation, commercial and corporate work, interviews and talking heads, and travel or documentary filmmaking. Key highlights of my Sony A7 V include its full-frame sensor, excellent detail in 4K video, industry-leading autofocus and subject tracking, strong low-light performance, a convenient flip-out LCD screen, its compact and lightweight design, and long battery life thanks to the NP-FZ100 batteries. Overall, I find this camera to be an excellent all-rounder, offering reliable autofocus, clean image quality, and impressive flexibility for both stills and video. A quick note on power: chargers are included with the kit. I only supply proprietary charging cables — anything that charges over a standard USB-C or USB 2.0 lead isn't included, so please bring your own. I do my best to have everything charged for pickup, but with tight turnarounds between rentals I can't always promise a full battery; if it's a time-sensitive shoot, collect the day before or leave an hour or two to top up.
