Description

Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens hire in London (SEL1635GM): the original G Master wide zoom, constant f/2.8 and weather sealed, for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. WHY THIS ONE 16mm gets a whole interior into the frame and 35mm gives a natural wide for environmental portraits, all at f/2.8. It focuses to 0.28m, so a foreground subject can sit close to the lens with the room still visible behind, and 11 aperture blades give rounded out-of-focus highlights. It has no stabiliser of its own; Sony bodies with in-body stabilisation handle that. WHAT'S INCLUDED Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM with front and rear caps and a padded pouch. The lens hood isn't included as standard, because most shoots don't use one and it's the item most often lost; ask when you book and I'll add it free. SPECS Focal length: 16-35mm, constant f/2.8 Minimum focus: 0.28m, 0.19x magnification Optics: 16 elements in 13 groups Aperture blades: 11 Filter thread: 82mm Weight: 680g Build: dust and moisture resistant Mount: Sony E, full-frame WHAT PEOPLE HIRE IT FOR Property and interiors, architecture, landscapes and astro, vlogs and pieces to camera, events in small rooms, and gimbal video. Wide lens hire in London at a lower rate than the Mark II. ORIGINAL OR MARK II? The Mark II is 133g lighter and focuses closer, to 0.22m, and I list it separately at a higher rate. Hire this original when budget matters more than weight. A second copy of this lens is also listed for two-camera shoots, and the FX3 and A7 III come in kits with it, all available to hire in London. PACKING Goes out in a padded pouch inside a hard case or padded bag. Ask for specific packing when you book.
