This is the perfect system for the modular-curious. If you want to learn about modular synthesis and start patching your first sounds then this is where to start. It contains 10 modules and includes a single oscillator, lowpass filter, dual VCA, wavefolder, noise and sample & hold generator, two envelopes, a mixer, sequencer and an output module. It has everything you need to start experimenting with sound and synthesis. On our website you will find a detailed explanation of the system including some basic patch ideas. It comes with a bag of patch cables and all you need to do is plug in some headphones to start your modular journey. It's called the mki x es EDU DIY system and orginally came as a kit. I built all the modules and put it together in the case. So it has a rough, DIY feel to it. You can read more about the system on the Erica Synths website. Please note the rental pickup and dropoff takes place at the SynthPicnic event in Norwich which is held once a month in the Honesty Library, Castle Quarter. And so the rental period is for four-five weeks depending on how the Saturday's align. Please select the dates that fit between the next two Synth Picnics. No other rental period options will be accepted.
